About Karen Beerbower
Karen Beerbower, MS, RD, LD, is a licensed, registered dietitian with a Masters degree in Medical Science from Indiana University School of Medicine. As the president of Nutritional Guidance, Inc., she has worked in private practice for over 20 years. She is the Clinical Director of Blue Horizons Eating Disorder Services, LLC and past Clinical Services Director for The Palms Eating Disorder Treatment Program at Central Florida Behavioral Hospital. She is the author of Setting Places and has also contributed to various articles, radio, and television segments. She is a lecturer for audiences throughout the country. Karen has worked as a dietitian in the following medical facilities: Winter Park Memorial Hospital Wellness Center, St. Mary’s Medical Center, and Evansville Psychiatric Children’s Center. She has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida and the University of Evansville. Karen is the past president and charter member of the Eating Disorder Network of Central Florida and a member of the American Dietetic Association, Orlando Dietetic Association, International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, National Eating Disorder Association, Academy for Eating Disorders, National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, Sports Cardiovascular & Wellness Nutritionists and Nutrition Entrepreneurs.

About Candace Chemtob
Candace Chemtob, MS, RD, LD, CSSD is a licensed, registered dietitian with a Masters degree in Human Nutrition from McGill University. Her extensive background includes more than 20 years of working in some of the nations’ premier medical centers including University of Chicago, Harvard/Massachusetts General and Washington University/Barnes Hospitals. She has worked with children at a specialized pediatric hospital in California and in private practice. She is board certified in weight management and sports nutrition by the American Dietetic Association. Candace is a Board Member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a charter member of the Eating Disorder Network of Central Florida, and a member of the American Dietetic Association, American Society of Bariatric Surgeons, and Sports Cardiovascular & Wellness Nutritionists. |

About Meghan Moran
Meghan Moran, MS, RD, LD, is a licensed, registered dietitian with a Masters degree in Health and Nutrition from the University of North Florida, College of Health. In addition to working in private practice, Meghan is the Nutrition Coordinator at Blue Horizon Eating Disorder Treatment Services, LLC. and past Clinical Dietitian at The Palms Eating Disorder Center at Central Florida Behavioral Hospital. She specializes in eating disorder treatment and facilitates workshops, groups, and nutrition experientials. Her extensive clinical background includes oncology, renal, cardiovascular and critical care units at Flagler Hospital and Florida Hospital South. She has also developed and taught community nutrition courses throughout the stages of the lifecycle. Meghan is a Board Member of the Eating Disorder Network of Central Florida, and a member of the American Dietetic Association, Florida Dietetic Association, Orlando Dietetic Association, International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group, and Sports Cardiovascular & Wellness Nutritionists. |
