Spring Possibilities

As we move from the monochromatic skies of winter, it is the arrival of spring that satisfies our craving for color and is a cause for enthusiastic celebration. The palette of spring can be seen in the yellow of the daffodils or the blue promise of the hydrangea. But, it is the fresh herbs and perfumes of fruit and vegetables that capture the freshness and true appetite of the season. Young stalks of asparagus with light, sweet sprigs of rosemary to use as garnish, crudite or steamed to perfection optimizes spring as the season of possibilities!
